What’s included within the Alarm Service?

  1. Check whether the customer has experienced any problems with the system.
  2. Visual inspection of all major alarm components, where accessible, for signs of deterioration or damage.
  3. Check and Walk Test all detectors.
  4. Check battery power supply including charging rates.
  5. Check satisfactory operation of manually operated devices (i.e. panic buttons).
  6. Check and test all audible warning devices (sirens).
  7. Check and test remote signaling equipment (where appropriate).
  8. Check the alarm system is fully operational.
  9. Check operation of keypads.
  10. Make adjustments as necessary.
  11. Repair any minor faults.
  12. Verify keyholders operation of alarm system.
  13. Record all test results.
  14. Return the alarm system to operational status.
 
All of the work carried out on site, together with the arrival and departure time are recorded on a record sheet.
The engineer will note any deficiencies in the system and also any recommended work that might be required to maintain a full, trouble free alarm system.
We will go through our findings with you explaining the results we have obtained and provide you with a written copy so you can keep on file.

Our plans don’t include:
  •  Components have been damaged by users or third parties.
  •  Components have been damaged by misuse.
  •  Components damaged due to Fire, Storm, Flood or an Act of Nature.
